Racing will begin April 2, 2011. The first night of racing, you will qualify at 4:00 pm and the races will start at 7:00 pm. Pit gate will open at 12:00 pm and at 4:00 on the following Saturdays (unless otherwise announced).
Last years assigned car numbers will be held for $40.00, if the number was used at least 12 times during the 2009 racing season. The number will be held until March 28, after this they will be $50.00 each, issued on a first-come- first-serve basis. All other numbers will be $50.00. Registration/Sanction fees will be $35.00. CASH ONLY. A $50 Improvement Fee will be added to each car number purchased.(Does not indlude FWD/FWDF8)
Parking Stalls
1. $100.00 Rental for a season 2. Before #’s will be painted on stalls, money must be paid.
NOTICE TO ALL DIVISIONS
A. MINOR RELEASES: Age 14 thru 17. Must have drivers license or state I.D. card. Two Notarized Minor Releases; one by mother and one by father and/or legal guardian. Ages 14 thru 17 may only drive Front Wheel Drive Cars (Oval). Not FWDF8 (must be 18 years of age)
B. APPN: If you do not qualify and run opening night, the first time you show up to run you will start on the tail to earn your APPN. At anytime a deliberate pull off occurs, you will receive no APPN average.
C. Car owner and a limit of eight crew members per race car. Car owner must name crew members before any crew member registers. CAR OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MISCONDUCT BY CREW. D. Must run same #, if same car is used to race in two divisions.
To qualify for the 2011 Owners Fund Award or any other awards at Sportsdrome Speedway you must do the following:
1. Participate in 1 (or more) of the Pre-Season Practice events. Your car MUST go through Tech during pre-season practice. The Tech line is open rain or shine! Practice dates are as follows:
Saturday March 19 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday March 20 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday March 26 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday March 27 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. If the Pit Gate opens for an event you must sign-in with your Racecar. This includes rain-outs that are called after the Pit Gate opens.
3. You must personally pick-up your Owners Fund Award or any other awards at the 2011 Awards Banquet or the Owners Fund Award and all other awards will be forfeited. (FWD / FWDF8 must als attend Banquet for Awards.)

1. 1960 and newer cars are eligible, but metal body must fit car and be stock appearing. Stock body must have dash and floor pan. No off set bodies or chassies left/right, front/rear, up or down. No spoilers of any kind. No wings. No convertibles or station wagons.
A. After market bodies with front fenders & full hood – see example page.
2. Minimum 114” wheel base. Any shortening of frame must come from center of side rails.
3. All cars must weigh a minimum of 3200#, with driver, with a 50# weight break after
feature.
4. Engines must be all cast iron: block, heads, intake, exhaust, etc…No diesel exhaust. No
adjustable mounts.
A. Engine set back limited to the far most spark plug hole in-line with that same
side upper ball joint (no tolerance- all engine types).
B. Exhaust- No 180’s / No exotic pipes / Headers
5. No roller rockers and no roller tip rockers. Winner must pull valve cover for inspection.
6. Carburetors Malleable Appearance: You can use either one 2 barrel carburetor or one 4
barrel carburetor, single line, single pump. Choke stack must remain. Must have Stock
Transfer Tube. No braided line on carburetor, one inch spacer block maximum.
7. Automatic Transmission with working converter only. No Direct Drives. No lock up
converters.
8. Exhaust must exit parallel with the ground.
9. No oil coolers will be permitted inside the driver’s compartment.
10. No alcohol fuel will be permitted. No nitrous oxide,
11. Special radiators may be used. No ANTI FREEZE permitted. Spillage will result in
disqualification for night’s races.
12. Open or locked rear ends. After Market 9” Floater rear end stock mount. No quick changes.
13. Track tire only Towel City Good Year racing recap. Can run four 7 or 8 inch steel wheels. No aluminum. No cast. All 4 wheels must be same size.
14. All cars must be equipped with four wheel brakes in good working condition at the start of the race. Rear Disc brakes are optional. No Aluminum or racing calipers or rotors. O.E.M. equipment only.
15. No Neal Pedals.
16. One shock absorber per a wheel, must remain in stock location. Racing shocks allowed.
17. Adjustable weight jacks allowed REAR only, O.E.M. rear cross member must stay in tact, not cut chaise past center line of rear axle.
CARS: 1. Four point roll bar and cage is mandatory.
2. Front loop, 1-3/4” maximum material, with no suspension tie in.
3. Side plate for driver’s door is mandatory. 12” high post-to-post, 5/16” minimum thickness fastened with six ½” bolts.
4. A full hood, trunk lid and all outward body parts must be on the car.
5. All glass except front windshield must be removed.
a. Glass windshield may be replaced with Lexan. Lexan windshield must have three
bars welded to the body no more than 17 inches apart.
6. No interior decking allowed. (Read After Market Body Only).
7. Fenders may be cut and rolled inward for the tire clearance, only with 3” maximum
clearance following around the circumference of the tire. Must extend to front of hood and drop in front of tire (forward of tire).
8. Bumpers must extend no wider than center of the tread width of the car, both front and
rear and no bumper re-enforcing. All bumper ends must be smooth. No jagged, rough or
sharp edges permitted on bumpers or fenders. TUBE BUMPERS must be completely covered with stock bumper or bumper cover.
9. Stock Suspension components only. No heim ends, aluminum sleeves or adjustable trailing arms or ball joints. Exception: may use heim tie rod end or adjustable spindle end only.
SAFETY RULES: 1. Racing approved 3” lap belts with double shoulder harnesses are required in all cars. ONLY metal to metal, quick release fasteners will be approved. Restraint system must mount securely to the cage structure.
2. Driver seat must be single, racing-type bucket seat, securely mounted to the roll cage
structure of the car via a steel frame.
3. 95 Snell or newer racing helmets are required at all times when car is on track.
4. Flame retardant uniforms are required at all times when car is on race track. (tops &
bottoms)
5. Firewall between driver and fuel cell. Fuel cells are mandatory.
6. Approved-type fuel cells are mandatory for all cars. A positive, screw cap filler or dry-break system is acceptable on the filler neck. MUST have 10” ground clearance.
7. Battery may be installed adjacent to fuel cell, minimum 3” and may be located in the
drivers compartment or beneath the hood. If the battery is located in the driver’s
compartment, it must be boxed in by a steel or plastic closure preventing acid-spill in the
event of a roll over.
GENERAL RULES: 1. Cars will be lined up by the Sportsdrome’s APPN system
2. The track reserves the right to claim a car for $300.00
3. Cars must go through and pass mandatory tech to be eligible to race.
4. It is the responsibility of the car owner, driver and/or mechanic to disassemble items for inspection, if requested by officials.
CAR NUMBERS AND PAINTING: 1. Cars will run straight numbers, no “X” numbers (two digit numbers).
2. All numbers on cars should be of professional quality.
3. Car color and number color should contrast.
4. XTREME FIGURE 8: Numbers on cars must be at least 18” high by a minimum of 2” thick, on both side doors and one large number reading front to back on the roof of the car. Also a small number in the upper right side of windshield.
OVAL XTREME: Numbers on cars must be at least 18” high by a minimum of
2” thick, on both side doors and one large number reading back to front on the roof of the car. Also a small number in the upper right side windshield.
5. Failure to comply with car number painting specs. could result in your car not being scored.

After Market Body Only Xtreme Winged Figure 8 & Oval Xtreme
Sportsdrome Speedway will allow After Market Bodies to run. After Market Bodies
MUST have a molded plastic stock appearing nose piece. No man made
wedge front nose pieces. May run one bumper (hoop bar) out of the top of the
molded plastic bumper, between the molded head lights - No wider. Interior
decking, forward of back seat- passenger side no higher than drive shaft hump.
Stock floor pan and dash not required.
No off set bodies or chassis left/right, front/rear or up/down. Rear deck height
40 inches maximum from ground. No spoiler or wings permitted in Oval Xtreme.

EXAMPLE – PERFORMANCE BODIES
Sloped front fenders, aluminum hood with body lines for strength, doors with
rolled top, quarter panels 5” to 8”, color matched fiberglass roof (optional). Full
set roof posts, plastic nosepiece. No other fiberglass except roof (optional).
1. Rear wheel drive O.E.M. cars only. “ ENGINE MUST BE STOCK” - NO MIRRORS
a) 1960 –1979 O.E.M. Sedan cars eligible, 118” wheel base minimum GM cars. Ford 114”
minimum and CHRYSLER cars 116” minimum. No convertibles or station wagons.

3. Weight: Must be painted white with car number on it. It cannot be in driver compartment. It is to be
fastened on frame in trunk area only. If weight comes out of car and is not painted and numbered it
will become property of the Sportsdrome.
4. Automatic Transmissions, with working converter.
5. Rims 7” – 70 or 75 series DOT tires or replacement. Steel Belt Radials only. All four tire and rim
assembly must be same diameter, 1/2 “ tolerance. Optional Hoosier Towel City retread 27 x 7.
6. Front wheels must remain VERTICAL. Front right and left wheel receives 2 degree tolerance.
7. Wagon wheels must be used on both front, backs are optional. NO OFF SETS.
8. Minimum 6” ground clearance at firewall with driver, front and rear.
9. All cars must be equipped with four-wheel brakes in good working condition at the start of the race.
10.No altering of suspension. No Racing Shocks or Springs
11.Open rear ends, or welded spider gears only.
12.Stock Muffler and Tailpipe REQUIRED. O.E.M. Type. 6” long X 2” O.D. tail pipe end reducer required. Pipes not to exceed 2-½ diameters. No X or H pipes allowed.
13. No roller rockers and no roller tip rockers. Feature winner must remove valve cover for inspection.
14. No ANTI FREEZE permitted. Spillage will result in disqualification for the night’s races.
15. Any replacement parts must be O.E.M. same make and model, any questionable parts will be your
job to prove legal not ours.
CARS:

extend through firewalls (front or rear). All bars must be mounted on top, flat part of the frame,
not on the arches.
b. Three bars minimum in driver side with door gutted.
c. Side plate for driver’s door is mandatory. 12” high post-to-post, 5/16” minimum thickness
fastened with six ½” bolts.
d. Full Roll Cage is optional: With it: You must have three bars minimum in driver’s side, two bars
minimum on passenger side. Doors may be gutted for clearance.
e. OPTIONAL: You may add a bar from center door to parallel part of frame for foot protection.
2. Firewall between driver and trunk area, front and back must remain in stock location. All holes
must be covered.
3. A full hood, trunk lid and all outward body parts must be on the car.
a. Hood may be gutted but must be secured with four hood pins.
4. All glass except front windshield must be removed. (Clean loose glass from interior)
a. Glass windshield may be replaced with Lexan. Lexan windshields must have three bars
spaced no more than 17 inches apart.
5. Remove headliner, floor carpet, back seat and all interior trim panels and padded dash.
6. Do not remove any metal interior body panels. Example: No metal gutting of dashes, passenger
door, trunk lids, wheel housing floor pans or roofs.
7. Do chain or weld all doors closed.
8. Engine accessories or belts may be removed. Example: air-pump, alternator, air compressor or
condenser. Window regulators may be removed.
SAFETY RULES:

6. Battery may be installed adjacent to fuel cell, minimum 3” and may be located in the driver’s compartment or beneath the hood. If the battery is located in the driver’s compartment, it must be boxed in by a steel or plastic closure preventing acid-spill in the event of a roll over.
